The recreation Park
Hidden within a delicate natural space on the banks of the Guindy River, located to the south of Lannion, and 3 km from the town of Cavan. The association ‘Kreizenn ar Son, Le Centre de Découverte du son’ works surrounded by nature to offer a unique leisure park: the Sound Discovery Center, concealed in the Kerouspic woods.
Throughout the 7-acre park of natural heritage managed by the association’s volunteers and employees, your ears will hum with all the interactive installations made of converted and recycled objects. Visitors of all ages are invited to touch, experiment and enjoy hearing and producing sounds, listening to each other’s sounds and rediscovering their ears.
Further info : You will need about 2 hours to go around the park. It is not an easy trail for pushchairs, we advise you to bring baby carriers. Wheelchairs are not recommended, feel free to contact us for more information.
Pet animals : Our animal friends: dogs, cats, etc., are not admitted to the park, even kept on a leash or in a carrier.
Waste : To protect the living plants and creatures, we’re working with our visitors to reduce waste and minimise our footprint on the site, while promoting biodiversity.
We’ve committed to this endeavour with the LPO (Bird Protection League) and GMB (Brittany Mammalogical Group).
We’re studying how to reduce and treat our waste. A compost bin has been placed at the site entrance where you can drop off the leftovers from your picnic.
We ask you to take the rest of your waste away with you.Thank you for your understanding !
